Dhaka, 30 July 2025 – A workshop titled “CV Engineering & Interview Masterclass: Strategies to Stand Out in Today’s Job Market” was organized by Dot Initiative in collaboration with the Students’ Council for Ideal Campus (SCIC), University of Dhaka. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students across various departments of the university.
The workshop began with an opening speech by K. M Emrul Hasan, President of Dot Initiative and Students’ Council for Ideal Campus (SCIC), University of Dhaka. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of bridging academic learning with career readiness, encouraging students to focus on practical skills and self-development.
Following the president’s remarks, Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration), University of Dhaka, addressed the participants as the Chief Guest. She appreciated Dot Initiative and SCIC for arranging such timely and student-oriented programs. She also highlighted some of the recent initiatives taken by the University of Dhaka to enhance student employability and promote practical learning.
The session on interview skills was conducted by Maruf Leakat, who provided detailed guidance on answering difficult questions, presenting oneself with confidence, and mastering real-life interview scenarios.
This was followed by a hands-on session on CV development by Niaz Ahmed, an award-winning specialist in CV, résumé, and LinkedIn profile building. He shared valuable insights on how to craft impactful and personalized career documents that reflect individual strengths.
The workshop concluded with a closing speech by Raiyan Ferdous, General Secretary of Dot Initiative. He thanked the trainers, volunteers, and participants for their enthusiastic involvement and reaffirmed Dot Initiative’s commitment to youth development and capacity-building through meaningful programs.
The event was met with high praise from attendees for its relevance and practical value in preparing for today’s competitive job landscape.
