Dot Initiative operates through ten functional wings that coordinate the organization’s core activities. Each wing plays a strategic role in achieving our mission across campuses and communities.

1. Event Management Wing

Lead unforgettable youth-led experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute workshops, seminars, and outreach events
  • Handle logistics, venue management, and coordination
  • Oversee on-the-ground volunteer and guest management

Ideal For: Organizers, planners, team managers

2. Skill Development & Training Wing

Build the future through skill and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize capacity-building programs on communication, leadership, IT, and other relevant areas
  • Coordinate mentorship, mock sessions, and expert-led training
  • Collaborate with external trainers and institutions

Ideal For: Trainers, curriculum designers, facilitators

3. Youth Club Coordination Wing

Connect youth across campuses and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and supervise Dot Youth Clubs in campuses and neighborhoods
  • Promote club-level events, competitions, and initiatives
  • Ensure reporting and documentation from all clubs

Ideal For: Student organizers, youth mentors, facilitators

4. Research & Advocacy Wing

Turn insight into impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct campus and community-based research
  • Write research papers, policy briefs, and opinion articles
  • Organize advocacy workshops and campaigns

Ideal For: Researchers, writers, policy enthusiasts

5. Content & Communication Wing

Craft narratives that move people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write social media posts, website content, speeches, and newsletter materials
  • Manage public messaging, storytelling, and branding
  • Produce and distribute press releases and communication for media outreach
  • Oversee editorial content for blogs and campaign briefs

Ideal For: Writers, media professionals, strategists

6. Design & Media Wing

Design visual identity and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design creative assets including banners, posters, and digital visuals
  • Produce videos, photo documentaries, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with content team for visuals aligned with brand tone

Ideal For: Designers, videographers, editors

7. IT & Digital Platform Wing

Drive our digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage website development and maintenance
  • Support backend systems and IT tools
  • Develop new digital platforms for youth engagement

8. Fundraising & Sponsorship Wing

Enable resources for social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential sponsors, write proposals, and build networks
  • Organize fundraising campaigns
  • Manage donor and sponsor communication and documentation

9. Volunteer & Campus Ambassador Management Wing

Mobilize and empower youth changemakers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, and engage volunteers and campus ambassadors
  • Organize volunteer orientation and training
  • Track performance and maintain member records

Ideal For: Motivators, HR enthusiasts, relationship builders

10. Monitoring & Evaluation Wing

Ensure transparency and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track progress of all wings and initiatives
  • Develop evaluation tools and measure outcomes
  • Compile monthly reports and provide feedback to leadership

Ideal For: Analysts, observers, strategic thinkers

Membership & Promotion

All new members begin as Team Members (General Members). Promotion is based on performance, leadership, task execution, and attendance.
Promotion Track:
Team Member → Executive Member → Deputy Coordinator → Wing Coordinator

Attendance is mandatory. Missing 2 out of 3 consecutive meetings without valid reason may result in removal from the wing.
